Another attack involved a kidnapping, authorities said, saying Sarceno Orla videotaped the attack.

Sarceno Orla has fled, authorities said, and law enforcement is seeking information about her whereabouts. If found guilty, he could face jail time.

“There was a sex offender in our community, and we thank the Mountain View Police Department for identifying him,” Santa Clara Dist. He said. Jeff Rosen said in a statement. “With the help of brave victims, investigators and the public, we will soon put him in custody so that he will not harm anyone again.”

The Mountain View Police Department began an investigation in July after speaking with a man who said he woke up injured after drinking with Sarceno Orla, officials said. Another victim said Sarceno Orla was his barber and he passed out after drinking beer with him.

Sarceno Orla was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in August; he posted $250,000 bail after his arrest, authorities said, and his whereabouts are unknown.

According to the results of the investigation, these incidents of assault date back to 2018, and in those incidents the victims were drunk at the time. The police are still trying to identify the other suspected victims.

Anyone who has been victimized is asked to contact the Mountain View Police Department at (650) 903-6618.
