Catherine Giudici Reminisces About The Bachelor Off-Camera With Sean Lowe

“I had a day left to find out if I was going to date or not and our last day ended. We were in Thailand and I was overwhelmed by how much I loved him,” Giudici, 38, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, November 17, along with several photos of her with Lowe, 41. “He left and I cried in bed alone while the cameras captured my emotions. After two minutes, someone knocked on the door.”
Giudici went on to recount how Lowe reappeared on her doorstep “laughing” without a camera.
“I was confused because he was laughing, he was confused because I was crying. He came back because when it’s midnight (maybe 15 minutes from when he knocked) it will be his birthday and he wants me to be the person to spend the first minutes of his birthday with,” he explained. “Even though he wouldn’t spend much time with me, giving me that time would carry me to the end. The day after his birthday, he proposed so every year, the 16th and 17th of November are very precious to me.

Giudici met Lowe during season 17 of Bachelor in 2013. Lowe popped the question during the offseason. The couple tied the knot in a live televised wedding in January 2014 and went on to welcome sons Thomas and Isaiah in 2016 and 2018, respectively, and daughter Mia in 2019.
Giudici and Lowe are some of Bachelor Nation’s sweetest stories. Giudici revealed the improbability of their lasting romance in an August Instagram post while reflecting on their reality TV journey.
“12 years ago, we traveled for 9 days – 4 of us were only 2. Today, we are living a dream that we talked about for almost 10 hours together 😋,” he wrote.

Lowe also takes every opportunity to talk about Giudici on social media.
“I don’t deserve him and I beg you all not to tell him that because he hasn’t understood it yet.” Happy birthday to the best wife and mother to my children I could ever ask for!” he wrote a caption in April of his wife’s photos.
In addition to dating, Lowe can’t resist poking fun at Giudici at times.
“She’s so beautiful inside and out but especially outside,” she said of a July 2023 Instagram photo of the couple in full costume.
