Christina Haack ‘Didn’t Enjoy’ Filming With ‘Insecure’ Ex Josh Hall

Rodin Eckenroth/WireImageChristina Haack has strong feelings about the short window in which he and his ex Josh Hall they worked together on HGTV projects.
“If someone [feels] not having confidence in you and he doesn’t like to see you win, that lowers everything,” said Haack, 41, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I feel like, I wasn’t as bright as trying not to make her feel sad, but who wants to live like that?”
Haack and Hall, 43, both filed for divorce in July. I Christina Ogwini The star filed her claim first, citing the date of their breakup as July 7. Hall, meanwhile, said they broke up one day later.
At the time of their breakup, Haack and Hall had just begun recording Flip Off accompanied by her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his new wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.

“It wasn’t fun to be honest. I didn’t enjoy recording with him,” said Haack ET. So, breaking up made this a lot easier and a lot better in every way. It would have been difficult to film this show.”
Us Weekly confirmed this summer that the Hall will be discontinued Flip Offwhere two couples would compete as house rivals. Now, Hall will face Tarek, 43, and Heather, 37, alone.
While talking to ETHaack guessed Hall would be jealous of his on-camera friendship with Tarek.
“[He] He doesn’t like our flexibility because Tarek and I have our own flexibility. Some would call it ‘flirting,'” Haack said. “It’s more like a sibling type thing.”

“I’ve been telling him things have been bad for at least a year,” Haack added. “It was no news to him.”
Haack had been married to Hall for three years before their ongoing divorce. She was previously married to Tarek – with whom she shares daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 7 – and Ant Anstead – with whom he shares son Hudson, 4 – respectively.

Both Tarek and Heather, who welcomed son Tristan in 2023, enjoyed working with Haack Flip Off. (Tarek and Christina used to host HGTV’s Flip or Flop (season 10, wrapping in 2022.)
“Man, I never, in my life thought this game would happen,” Tarek said only Us last month. “Sometimes I sit by myself and I look at Heather, my wife, and I look over there, and there is my ex-wife, Christina. And I wonder, ‘How did I get here?'”
Heather told Us that filming “has just been fun,” adding, “It’s a fun, creative thing that we do, making fun of all the people who make fun of us.”
Flip Off will premiere on HGTV in January 2025.
